How do I add an authorized user?

Adding an authorized user allows you to share the benefits of your credit card with family or friends. You may add up to four authorized users if your account is in good standing. Each authorized user can receive their own physical card, resulting in a max of five physical cards per account.

They'll be able to make purchases, which allows you to earn more points. There is no impact to their credit score to sign up.

To add an authorized user:

  1. Log in to the Imprint app or online at account.imprint.co
  2. Click the image of your card
  3. Select "Add authorized user" under the Physical card section
  4. Fill out the information for your authorized user:
    • Legal name
    • Email address
    • Birthday
    • Mobile phone number
    • Relationship
    • Address
    • SSN
  5. Review and submit

They will get a physical card with their name on it and their purchases will be linked to your account. You will be able to track all transactions in the activity feed, request a new card, and freeze or close an authorized user's card anytime.

Authorized users cannot login to the Imprint app or online at account.imprint.co. They also do not have their own virtual card. As the primary cardholder, you are responsible for all bills and payments.

How do I remove an authorized user?

You can remove an authorized user at any time through the Imprint app or online at account.imprint.co. Once removed, the authorized user will no longer be able to make purchases on your account. Please note that you remain responsible for any transactions posted before the removal is completed.

To remove an authorized user:

  1. Log in to the Imprint app or online at account.imprint.co
  2. Click the image of your card
  3. Navigate to the Physical card section and click "Manage authorized users"
  4. Select the authorized user you want to remove
  5. Click "Deactivate user" and confirm

Can authorized users log in to my account?

Authorized users do not have their own login credentials and cannot access the account independently. They are linked to the primary cardholder’s account and do not have a separate account of their own.
