After you submit a payment, you’ll see it reflected immediately in your remaining statement balance and current balance. However, payments can take time to fully process and post to your account.
Your payment is credited based on the date it is received at our processing center — not the date it finishes processing.
Payment timeline
- Immediately: Your payment will show in your activity and reduce your remaining balance.
- 3–5 business days (most electronic payments): The payment will finalize and your available credit will be updated.
- If you're checking your bank account, the funds may be withdrawn before the payment fully posts to your Imprint account. This is normal — the payment is still processing on our end.
Note: If you scheduled a payment for a future date, it will appear in your activity on the scheduled date, not the date it will actually be processed.
Electronic payments (ACH or linked bank payments)
Electronic payments typically follow the timeline above. In most cases, they can take 3–5 business days to fully process and post.
Check payments
How long does it take for a check payment to post?
Please allow up to 10 business days from the date you mail your payment for it to appear on your account.
Once received:
- Most checks post the same day.
- Some payments may take up to 48 hours to process after receipt.
Why might a check take longer to post?
Delays can happen if:
- The information on the check needs additional review (such as account details or payee information).
- The payment requires manual verification.
- Mail delivery times vary.
You do not need to take action unless your payment has not posted after 10 business days from the date you mailed it.
When should I contact support?
Please reach out if:
- A check payment has not posted after 10 business days from when you mailed it.
- An electronic payment has not posted after the standard hold timeframe.
Our team is happy to help investigate.
