Using the Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard you will earn the following rewards:
- 4% cash back Rewards on Eligible Transactions at “Shell Locations,” defined as Shell branded retail stations in the United States (whether owned and operated by Shell or its affiliates or by independent wholesalers or retailers), which stations may sell, among other things, fuel, electric charging, and/or convenience retail items (such transactions, “Shell Transactions”).
- 3% cash back Rewards on Eligible Transactions at merchants categorized as dining (e.g., eating places and restaurants, drinking places, fast food restaurants, and caterers) and groceries (e.g., grocery stores, supermarkets, delis, and bakeries).
- 2% cash back Rewards on all other Eligible Transactions.
How do I redeem my rewards?
Rewards have no cash value and may be redeemed only as a statement credit on your Program Card monthly billing statement Available rewards earned with your Shell Performance Elite World Mastercard will automatically be redeemed against Shell purchases at the close of your statement cycle.
If your Rewards Balance exceeds your Shell transactions in an eligible cycle, only the amount needed to cover those transactions will be redeemed. Any remaining rewards will stay available and be applied in the next eligible cycle.
To redeem rewards, your Program Card must be active, not past due, and you must remain eligible for the Rewards Program.
Why are my rewards pending?
Pending rewards will become available once the transaction has fully settled.
Do my rewards expire?
Yes, rewards will expire 13 months after your last qualifying activity.
What counts as a qualifying activity?
Qualifying activities include:
- Making a purchase
- Earning rewards
- Redeeming rewards
- Keeping your account active with any of the above will reset the 13-month expiration period.
